Ray Doreian has been an active resident and member of the greater Philadelphia business community for more than 50 years. Upon graduating from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (in Australia), he came to the US as a lead Electrical Engineer for Siemens and eventually led management teams at two other multi billion-dollar corporations (RCA and General Electric).
In 1972 Ray entered into the insurance industry, and two years later co-founded the Employer Communications Company (NJ), where he coded and developed the revolutionary computer-based Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) report generating system and co-authored Prentice Hall’s "ERISA Plan Administrator's Desk Book". This was the first and authoritative book to assist employers implementing the ERISA mandates.
In 1993, Ray started the TriniCore Company with his ground breaking option to the “Clinton” National Health Plan proposal that received wide acclaim from Philadelphia and New Jersey employers. This plan used a unique strategy to prevent the significant income tax consequences of that 1990s National Health Plan.
Ray is well known for his business savy and commitment to honesty and integrity. He has helped grow businesses from 200 to 6000+ lives globally, and has provided clients with superior benefit consultation for over a quarter of a century.
In 1975, Ray became an ERISA-Admitted Actuary and received the National Association of Life Underwriters LUTCF marketing degree. In 2004, he received the Chartered Benefit Consultant – CBC – designation and received the Advanced Chartered Benefit Consultant (ACBC) certification in 2008.
Ray is also a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters (PAHU), the Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters (GPAHU), the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants (NAABC), the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS), and the Financial Services Institute (FSI). He also maintains NASD registration for the sale of equities products to satisfy client-needs regarding retirement as well as business- and family-continuity planning.
Ray has supported innumerable charitable and social organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House, the Upper Merion Library, Covenant Seminary, World Missions, among several others.
